About Our Services
SCTY Group provides information to various national and international courier and shipping companies ("Shipping Companies") to help select the best option for each situation. SCTY Group acts solely as an intermediary between you and the Shipping Company.
SCTY Group does not transport or deliver shipments and is not part of any contract you establish with a Shipping Company for pickup, transport, or delivery services.
If the Shipping Company fails to collect or deliver your package, you must report it via email to clientes@scty.mx and request a new attempt.
You may only use the Services for personal benefit or for a registered User. You cannot use the Services on behalf of third parties or offer them in ways that SCTY Group or the Shipping Company deems inappropriate. Additionally, all Services must be used for legal purposes, complying with applicable national or international regulations.
For matters related to delivery, insurance, guarantees, and refunds, the terms and conditions of each Shipping Company partnered with SCTY Group will apply. These terms can be reviewed on their respective websites.
Additionally, the amount paid to SCTY Group for generating a shipping label may be refunded only if:
- The label has not been documented in the selected Shipping Company at the time of cancellation.
- The cancellation request occurs within three calendar days from the label's creation.
SCTY Group reserves the right to decline refund requests for canceled shipments that do not meet the above requirements.
SCTY Group will assign a shipping provider and a tracking number, which will be sent via email to the address registered by the User at the time of purchase.
User Responsibilities
- Providing accurate delivery information required by SCTY Group during the online purchase process, including a valid email address for shipping updates.
- Tracking their package through the assigned Shipping Company using the tracking number sent by SCTY Group via email.
- Providing any additional information requested by the Shipping Company during the shipping process. It is important to monitor package progress and follow any additional instructions or recommendations provided by the Shipping Company.
- Being present at the delivery address to receive the purchased item.
- Picking up the package directly at the assigned shipping provider’s office if required by the Shipping Company. The package must be collected within three business days from notification
User Obligations
In addition to the obligations outlined in these Terms and Conditions, the User agrees not to use the Services in ways that:
- Violate or infringe upon intellectual property rights of SCTY Group or third parties.
- Breach any Terms and Conditions of SCTY Group or the shipping companies.
- Violate laws, regulations, or any municipal, state, federal, or international provisions.
- Attempt to obtain the password or information of another user by any means.
- Interfere with the Services or Website, or use them beyond the intended purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
A violation of any of the above may result in the termination of your right to use or access SCTY Group Services. SCTY Group reserves the right to deactivate your account, in which case the User must immediately settle all outstanding payments.
Links to Other Websites
The Website and Services may contain links to third-party websites or email addresses. SCTY Group has no control over these external websites or the companies that own them. We do not make any representations regarding the information, quality, or acceptability of services or products offered on those sites.
Similarly, SCTY Group makes no claims regarding the performance or quality of any software found on third-party sites. The display of shipping company information on the Website does not constitute a recommendation for any particular provider. Any interaction the User has with a shipping company—including payments, deliveries, warranties, and conditions—is at their own risk.
You acknowledge that SCTY Group is not liable for acts, omissions, errors, warranties, insurance issues, breaches, or negligence by any Shipping Company or third party that could result in injury, damage, or harm to the User.
Any information or content shared or transmitted privately through SCTY Group Services is solely the responsibility of the individual who originated the content. The User accesses such information at their own risk, and SCTY Group is not responsible for errors, omissions, damages, or losses incurred in connection with that content.
If a problem, dispute, or conflict arises between another User and a Shipping Company, you agree to release SCTY Group, its representatives, employees, and agents from any claims or demands that may result.
Modification of Terms and Conditions
SCTY Group may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We recommend reviewing them regularly. If significant changes are implemented, we will notify Users in a timely manner, such as by displaying a prominent notice on the Website or by sending an email notification.
In some cases, we may provide advanced notice of changes. Your continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of those updates. SCTY Group also reserves the right to remove any content from the Services at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion, and without prior notice.
Payments
The User is fully responsible for paying all fees and applicable taxes for SCTY Group Services.
Service fees may vary due to circumstances beyond SCTY Group’s control, such as:
- Fuel price increases
- Inflation and tax changes
- Rising transport or shipping costs
SCTY Group may require a minimum deposit for the proper provision of Services.
It is the User’s responsibility to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date payment and billing information for their account.
SCTY Group does not offer refunds or guarantees. Additionally, SCTY Group is not responsible for customs charges, import taxes, duties, or similar fees incurred during the transportation or delivery of any shipment. The User must verify whether such charges apply to their package.
Limitation of Liability
SCTY Group does not transport or deliver shipments and is not part of any contract established between the User and a Shipping Company.
Therefore, any loss, damage, failed delivery, delayed shipment, or disputes arising from shipments are not attributable to SCTY Group.
SCTY Group assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or validity of any statements or opinions shared on the Website. Additionally, SCTY Group is not responsible for damages or harm resulting from the use of third-party information provided on the Website.
The User releases SCTY Group from any liability if their package does not match the declared contents or if the shipment contains restricted items as determined by SCTY Group or the Shipping Company.
Additionally, the User exempts SCTY Group from liability for any loss, damage, failed delivery, or delays caused by:
- Acts of nature or force majeure
- Government regulations or orders (municipal, state, or federal)
- Incomplete or incorrect recipient information
Website Availability
SCTY Group strives to maintain full availability of our Website. If an outage occurs, you may report it to clientes@scty.mx, and we will attempt to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
However, SCTY Group is not responsible for any damages, losses, or disruptions caused by system failures, server issues, or internet outages.
Additionally, SCTY Group is not liable for any viruses that may affect the User’s device due to access, use, or file transfers from the Website. The User cannot hold SCTY Group responsible or demand compensation for technical difficulties or internet-related failures.
SCTY Group does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Website.
Unexpected technical difficulties, internet issues, or external circumstances may temporarily disrupt our services. In such cases, we will attempt to restore access as quickly as possible, but SCTY Group cannot be held liable for errors or omissions in Website content.
Returns Due to Recipient Non-Compliance or Policy Violations
SCTY Group wants Users to be aware that if a package is returned to our facilities due to recipient-related issues, the recipient/customer must contact SCTY Group within 21 calendar days of the return incident to reschedule shipment at their own expense.
If the recipient fails to take action within 21 days, SCTY Group will not be responsible for the package contents and reserves the right to dispose of the package at its discretion.
